Started in 1971, incorporated in 1978, distributed IT pioneer, 01 COMMUNICATIONS is the first distributed computing new media and animation producer and developer.

80's
After developing its own production and management systems, in the 70's, starting in the early 80's, the company develops distributed applications and provides distributed IT consulting and development, for enterprise systems and environments.

90's
In the 90's, 01 COMMUNICATIONS developed enterprise and large-scale distributed portals, applications, frameworks, environments, often in partnership with major IT players, in Canada, USA, Europe and Asia.

Recurring themes:
Distributed computing technologies have evolved substantially but some recurring themes and issues still remain and security, integration, work flow, life cycle, standards, and managing distributed contents and resources are still important and evolving issues with us today, as they have been for many years.

In fact, most of these issues are intensified and accelerated by the development of Internet, broadband, collaboration, virtualization, demand, and requirements, as well as by the constraints imposed by the ever increasing complexity and sophistication.

2000's
Consequently, by 2000, 01 COMMUNICATIONS created a DNAOS (Distributed Network Application Operation Services) group to develop, implement, integrate, and support a new XML, SOA, and standards-based solution platform for these and related issues, including the management of virtual profile, and new media applications.

Today, 01 COMMUNICATIONS offer the DNAOS Service platform, as well as DNAOS and standards-based integrated distributed computing solutions combining tools, professional services, and rich contents.

From the DNAOS technology, 01 COMMUNICATIONS also propose new standards for managing, integrating, and securing distributed application resources and contents.

2010's
Reaching into the next decade, 01 COMMUNICATIONS plans to keep expanding the DNAOS Service Platform technology to support network-based collaborative knowledge sharing solid 3D and new media applications, including its unique Cosmos-Square project.
